In short
Vanilla Beans is a level 60 Botanist cooking ingredient gathered from a single legendary node in Coerthas Western Highlands. It opens at 06:00 and 18:00 Eorzea time and stays up for 2 Eorzea hours, which is about 6 real minutes. The node stays hidden until you've read the Coerthan Botany Folklore tome.
