About Fieldcraft

Miners, Botanists, and Fishers live and die by the clock. The rarest nodes and the biggest catches only appear during specific Eorzea-hour and weather windows, and a missed window means waiting for the next rotation. Fieldcraft removes the guesswork:

• The live tracker shows what's gatherable this Eorzean minute, sorted by what closes soonest.
• Per-item and per-spot pages on the gathering and fishing hubs list every window, bait, and location.
• The Ocean Fishing hub counts down to the next voyage and previews the upcoming route rotation.
• A personal watch list lets you follow specific items and be nudged before their window opens.
• The guides cover Eorzea time, weather, timed nodes, collectables, rotations, fishing, and Ocean Fishing in plain language.

Eorzea keeps its own time. One Eorzea hour lasts about 175 real-world seconds, and a full Eorzea day passes in roughly 70 real minutes. Weather advances on a fixed, seedable cycle in eight-Eorzea-hour blocks. Because both systems are deterministic, they can be computed rather than scraped.

Fieldcraft derives every window directly from your device clock using the game's own time and weather math, entirely in your browser. There's no live game API, so the tracker keeps working offline and never sees your account.

Node, fish, and voyage data is compiled from the FFXIV community's open datasets and cross-checked against multiple sources. We're grateful to Fish'cord and icykoneko for fish conditions, Tyo'to Tayuun and Teamcraft for Ocean Fishing data, ffxiv-datamining and XIVAPI for game data, GarlandTools for cross-checks, and SaintCoinach for the weather algorithm. The freshness badge on the home page reflects the game patch the current dataset was verified against.

Fieldcraft is built and maintained by an independent developer, not by a large company or by Square Enix. It's one of a small family of FFXIV fan tools alongside FFXIV Sanctuary (Island Sanctuary), Off Duty (limited jobs), and Eorzea Homecoming (returning-player planner).
