In short
Blackseed Cotton Boll is a level 100 Botanist textile material gathered from a single legendary node in Living Memory. It opens at 04:00 and 16:00 Eorzea time and stays up for 2 Eorzea hours, which is about 6 real minutes. The node stays hidden until you've read the Alexandrian Botany Folklore tome.
About Blackseed Cotton Boll
These fibrous cotton flowers originated in ocean waters long forgotten.
Blackseed Cotton Boll weaves into Blackseed Cotton Cloth for the Archeo Kingdom crafted gear, and it also goes into Ascendant Twine for the Phantom Weapon quest Under No Illusion.
The node needs 4,480 Perception and the Tome of Botanical Folklore - Alexandria.
It shares a node with Optical Fibergrass at the Arena of Valor in Living Memory, on the 4:00 and 16:00 window. Bring enough Perception for both (Fibergrass wants 4,540) and clear the node once.
