Where to gather (3)
In short
Potent Spice is a level 90 Botanist cooking ingredient gathered from 3 legendary nodes in Elpis, Thavnair, and Ultima Thule. Each node runs on its own Eorzea-time schedule; see the windows below. Each node stays hidden until you've read the tome for its own region: Ancient Botany Folklore for Elpis, Northern Botany Folklore for Thavnair, and Celestial Botany Folklore for Ultima Thule.
About Potent Spice
Not for the weak of heart or palate, this powdered mixture of natural spices gives any dish a flavorsome kick.
Potent Spice is the culinarian's legendary: it goes into a long list of level 90 dishes, from Archon Burger and Beef Stroganoff to Thavnairian Chai and Sykon Cookie. Many of those are still cooked for leveling and for cheap stat food.
It's unusual in having no Perception requirement, and it appears on three different legendary nodes: Lethe in Elpis (World Unsundered tome), The Shroud of the Samgha in Thavnair (Ilsabard and the Northern Empty tome), and The Tube in Ultima Thule (Sea of Stars tome).
Because it rides along on nodes that also hold Mempisang Log, Golden Cocoon and Double-edged Herb, you'll usually pick it up while you're there for something else.
