In short
Ipe Log is a level 100 Botanist log gathered from a single legendary node in Kozama'uka. It opens at 00:00 and 12:00 Eorzea time and stays up for 2 Eorzea hours, which is about 6 real minutes. The node stays hidden until you've read the Yok Turali Botany Folklore tome.
About Ipe Log
A rough-cut log of ipe timber.
Ipe Log becomes Ipe Lumber, and it is one of the six legendary materials in Ascendant Twine, the spool the Phantom Weapon quest Under No Illusion wants delivered. That twine draws on six different folklore nodes, and this is one of them.
The node needs 4,480 Perception and the Tome of Botanical Folklore - Yok Tural.
You'll find it at The Glostfired Bank in Kozama'uka on the midnight and noon window, one of the earliest windows in the Dawntrail rotation.
