In short
Fine Silver Ore is a level 100 Miner ore or stone gathered from a single legendary node in Shaaloani. It opens at 10:00 and 22:00 Eorzea time and stays up for 2 Eorzea hours, which is about 6 real minutes. The node stays hidden until you've read the Xak Turali Mining Folklore tome.
About Fine Silver Ore
A decent-sized piece of rock containing large quantities of silver.
Fine Silver Ore smelts into Sterling Silver Ingot, which goes into the Archeo Kingdom crafted jewelry (chokers and earrings) and the Everseeker's crafting and gathering tools.
You need 4,480 Perception and the Tome of Geological Folklore - Xak Tural.
The node is at Yawtanane Grasslands in Shaaloani. Rose Garnet Ore spawns in the same grasslands but on the 0:00 and 12:00 window, so pair them if you're already there.
