In short
Harmonite Ore is a level 100 Miner ore or stone gathered from a single legendary node in Living Memory. It opens at 06:00 and 18:00 Eorzea time and stays up for 2 Eorzea hours, which is about 6 real minutes. The node stays hidden until you've read the Alexandrian Mining Folklore tome.
About Harmonite Ore
A decent-sized piece of rock containing iron mixed with traces of nickel and cobalt.
Harmonite Ore is the raw material behind Maraging Steel Ingot and Ancestral Alloy Ingot. That second one matters: the Phantom Weapon relic quest Under No Illusion asks for an Ancestral Alloy Ingot, so anyone pushing the relic line needs this, or the ingot a crafter made from it.
The node needs 4,480 Perception and the Tome of Geological Folklore - Alexandria.
It shares a node with Alexandrian Ore at The Knowable, on the same 6:00 and 18:00 window, so a single folklore trip covers both.
