In short
Smithsonite Ore is a level 60 Miner ore or stone gathered from a single legendary node in The Sea of Clouds. It opens at 08:00 and 20:00 Eorzea time and stays up for 2 Eorzea hours, which is about 6 real minutes. The node stays hidden until you've read the Abalathian Mining Folklore tome.
